Chris Porter

2001-2006

Chris is currently living in La Crosse, WI and working as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Winona State University.

When reflecting on the impact RMS had on his life, Chris shared:

"I owe so much of who I am to the time I spent at RMS. The special thing about a Montessori education was that it allowed for me to explore my passions and that is something I have carried into both my professional and personal life. At RMS, I made friendships that have lasted almost 20 years. It is a special school with teachers who care just as much about teaching students math, reading, and writing as they do teaching students how to be good, kind, and compassionate people. By combining ethical and moral lessons with strong academic ones RMS stands alone. I truly feel proud every time I drive by, or even stop in to see the friendly faces of teachers who once taught me, to say that 'I went to school here.'"
