Callie currently lives in Racine with her husband and two children. She worked for the Birth to Three Program in Kenosha for 10 years as a speech-language pathologist and is currently helping run their engineering business with her husband.
When reflecting on the impact RMS had on her life, Callie shared:
"Racine Montessori School is my most cherished learning environment of my educational career. From the loving teachers, the friends I made, and the natural style of learning, Montessori-based school was never a 'chore' to do. Nor did I ever say, 'I don’t want to go to school.'
It was always a fun and enjoyable atmosphere that I loved… who can ever say that?! Me!!! When I transitioned into the public school system after graduating from RMS, I was so much more prepared than any of my classmates to be independent, ready to learn, and have all the skills to organize myself to accomplish any work that was given to me. These abilities were clearly the learning building blocks Montessori instilled in me from all of their lessons. I still carry many of those skills with me. I will forever hold RMS dear to my heart."
