Amy is now an author and fiction book editor in Wisconsin.
When asked to reflect on her time at RMS, Amy shared:
"RMS made education fun! It fostered a love of learning, and I went on to my next school advanced in several subjects. The teachers and staff were always pleasant, and I remember filling my days with educational activities that felt like games with friends. At my next school, I mentioned something about 'big, red circles' representing verbs and 'little, blue triangles' representing articles and the like, and my teacher had no idea what I meant. I thought that was a universal learning guide to the parts of speech! Now I'm an editor and a writer, and I still remember those colors and shapes every time I get to work."
