39th Annual Fair – Postponed

Due to the latest Coronavirus announcement made by Governor Evers we have decided to indefinitely postpone our May 2nd, 2020 Lakefront Artist Fair. We are closely monitoring all updates and will adhere to any guidelines that are passed down.

Every year on the first Saturday in May, Racine Montessori School holds their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Lakefront Arts and Craft Fair. It marks the unofficial start to Racine’s summertime festival season! If you’re unfamiliar with it, or are a first-time applicant with us, you can read all about last year’s event, here.

Over 125 Artisans from all over the midwest showcase their talents here, including:

  • Jewelers

  • Painters

  • Pottery makers

  • Wood and Metal artists

  • Garden artists

  • Soap Makers

  • Clothing

  • Children’s Novelty Toy makers

  • Unique Food Vendors… and so much more!

If you are an artist and wish to participate, we will be posting the application soon, so please check back.

In addition to a wonderful variety of original art, there are many other reasons to visit the Lakefront Arts & Craft Fair:

  • Gift Baskets/Silent Auction items to bid on

  • Artist’s Silent Auction (many participating artists donate an item)

  • Bake Sale

  • Food Station – Burgers/Brats Chips & Drinks

  • Children’s Fun Zone (including a bounce house!)

Bring your whole family and come join the fun!

***Note to RMS families: We rely on each family to volunteer a minimum of four (4) hours of their time in order to make the LAF the success it has become. Sign ups begin in April for the many activities that support the event: park set-up (the day before), artist shuttling, artist unloading, concessions, ticket sales, artist support, children’s booth activities, etc.
