Volunteers are not paid - - not because they are worthless,
but because they are priceless.
CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Please keep track of all the
hours you put toward volunteering;
this information is helpful
when the school applies for various grants.
You can let the office know
the time you spent towards RMS projects.

The Dream Team -
The Dream Team
(Building and Grounds Committee) is a
team of volunteers dedicated to the ongoing maintenance of our school building
and facilities. We have a Yahoo Group to broadcast needed repairs.
Members aren’t required to respond to any or all of the repair requests, they
simply agree to take on those repairs or maintenance tasks that they are able
to. Please visit the Dream Team by clicking here.
- Lakefront Artist Fair - It's never too
early to think about LAF - gather up your gently used items for the prize
board, hit the clearance bins to make a beautiful gift basket, perhaps you'll
find someone willing to donate something! Committee meetings
are the last Friday of the month January through April (9am in the school lounge).
Planning takes a lot of work from chairing committees to donating items for
the Prize Board and Basket Raffle to WORKING AT LAF. It is imperative
that we all have a hand in the success of LAF.
PARENTS: PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION
ON HELPING OUT ON LAF!
- Fundraising Planning - watch the newsletter for
meeting times! If you have any great ideas, we'd love to hear them!
- The Green Team
- Our Gardening Club is a team of volunteers who work to plan and maintain our campus gardens and support our Outdoor
Classroom projects. We have a Yahoo Group which you can visit:

Racine Montessori School is a parent run school:
including the RMS Board of Directors, to the Racine Montessori Society, (which
all families are automatically members), to various committees, positions, and
tasks - BIG AND SMALL! It is through the hard work and dedication that our
families give to our school that makes it what it is: a special
place of learning for our children!
We encourage you to volunteer in whatever capacity
you can - check back here, watch the newsletter, and check with the school
office to learn where your help is needed!
